The Australian Centre for Public History will be hosting a seminar on digital history research. Winner of the 2018 Annual History Citation, Professor Lyndall Ryan of the University of Newcastle, will be presenting “The Intimacy of Digital Mapping: The Frontier Massacres Mapping Project and the Connection to Regional Australia”
The State Archives and Records NSW has an extensive Archives Collection. In their collection is a volume which may shock present Sydneysiders as it records the presence of Bubonic Plague or the Black Death in Sydney of the early 20th century. It is a volume filled with disease and death.
