In case you missed it, History Council of NSW staff have compiled detailed notes from its Orange Readers and Writers workshop, ‘Voices from the past: Uncovering local and personal stories‘.
The workshop, hosted in partnership with Central West Libraries and supported by Orange City Council and Create NSW, featured a lively discussion of historical projects and the transformative role history can play in our communities.
Our fantastic speakers, Alison Wishart, Carrolline Rhodes, Marian Lorrison and Trudi Mayfield, shared their ideas and experiences in historical research and storytelling.
We are grateful to all those who supported, attended and contributed to the workshop. Find out more about the workshop here and download the notes below or here (pdf 259kb). If you attended and would like to provide feedback, fill out our survey.
