Eryldene house is hosting a special Jazz concert. Take in the sunset at the end of an autumn day in the tranquil garden at Eryldene. Bring a picnic, drinks, a rug or folding chair, and enjoy the wonderful sound of The Moods. With a repertoire drawn from traditional jazz, swing and jive to classics from the songbooks of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, The Moods set the mood for young and old.

Purchase homemade treats, tea and coffee from the Garden Café. Order gourmet rolls before 6th March to complement your picnic. Bookings recommended.

If you can’t make the concert you can still take a tour of the house throughout the year.  Eryldene is open on the second weekend of each month from April to September. No bookings required. Open from 10am – 4.00pm. The house is also available for hire for special events such as group tours, garden parties, garden weddings and photography shoots at other times during the year.

Come and enjoy the cutting edge architecture of this early 20th century place, the home of the late Professor EG Waterhouse and his wife Janet. Experience one of the finest examples of Hardy Wilson architecture, and the garden famous for its collection of camellias and azaleas, now at the height of their flowering season. Sit and enjoy the tranquility of the garden “rooms” and explore the “secret pathways” that children love.
