The City of Sydney Historical Association invites you to join them at their next speaker event presented by Dr Lisa Murray, city historian at the City of Sydney, as she likens a visit to a cemetery to visiting a sculpture park or museum.
Lisa will discuss her new book, Sydney Cemeteries: A Field Guide, and tell audiences some of the strange and interesting stories of Sydney’s cemeteries and the people buried there. Cemeteries are not simply places for the dead – they are designed for the living.
