On Thursday 3 May, the History Council of NSW presented ‘Immersive Histories,’ a panel session at the 2018 Sydney Writers’ Festival. Winners of the 2017 New South Wales Premier’s History Awards Dr Peter Hobbins and Associate Professor Adam Clulow, and Senior Judge Professor Paul Ashton, spoke to Caroline Butler-Bowdon about the awards and how they immersed themselves in evidence and place to create rich and engaging narratives.
In case you missed the event, History Council of NSW Administrative Assistant, Alexandria Hawkins, has taken notes from the session which can be downloaded here (pdf 111KB) or at the link below.
Thank you to our speakers, staff and the staff and volunteers at the Sydney Writers’ Festival for making this year’s event such a success.
