The Sydney Mechanics School of Arts are hosting Sian Williams from Swansea University in Wales and Michele Frey from New Zealand to share their insights on Schools of Arts and related organisations, and their own local institutions.
Sian and Michele are coming fresh from the Mechanics’ Institutes of Victoria / Mechanics’ Institutes of Australia 2018 Conference where they are keynote speakers, delivering the following papers with the theme ‘Celebration & Survival’:
- Sian Williams – South Wales Miners’ Library: Saving the Memory
- Michele Frey – Halls of New Zealand
