The State Library of New South Wales are looking for an Imaging Officer to join their Digitisation Branch full time for a fixed term of up to three years.
About the Role
You will create high quality digital files from a wide range of printed, original and 3-D objects, using a range of digitisation devices to meet client needs, facilitate electronic access to the Library collections and to assist long term preservation needs.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in photography and/or experience in reformatting 3D, printed, fragile and original materials using a range of professional scanners, photographic and digital equipment;
- Knowledge of colour management, digital file management and experience using camera capture, image processing and other related software programs on Windows and Macintosh operating systems;
- Manual dexterity, normal colour vision, attention to detail and experience in the handling and care of 3D, printed, fragile and original materials.
