The Inner West City Council Libraries invite you to join them as they host documentary photographer, Effy Alexakis and historian Leonard Janiszewski as they chronicle the depth and diversity of Australia’s Greek presence over the last 200 years. From Greek convicts and Greek adventurers in the early 1800’s to recent migrations spurred since the economic crisis in 2008. Australia has again become a major destination for Hellenes. Presented in partnership with the Greek Festival of Sydney.
