Sydney University Museums is looking for a Museum Digitisation Officer to work with the collections of the Macleay Museum, Nicholson Museum and University Art Gallery in preparation for the opening of the Chau Chak Win Museum.

The Museums and Cultural Engagement team manages a rich and diverse program of cultural outreach activities for the University. The units focus is the development and opening of the Chau Chak Win Museum. University Museums comprises the Macleay Museum, the Nicholson Museum and the University Art Gallery and collection areas cover natural history, ethnography, historic photographs, science, visual arts, decorative arts and Middle East antiquities and comprise some of Australia’s most historic collections. The Museums Digitisation Officer is a member of the University Museums’ team. The position will be working to process digital content to the EMu database for access online.

The position is part-time 0.8FTE (28hrs per week), fixed term until 31 Dec 2017. Applications close 11.30pm 26 March 2017
