In 2017, Rookwood Cemetery will celebrate its 150th anniversary. Rookwood is the largest ’Silent City’ operating in Australia, with fascinating stories of the prominent and sometimes notorious people interred within.

Join Warren Fahey, Rookwood’s cultural historian and filmmaker, for an exploration of Rookwood’s curious history and the screening of several short films on Rookwood notables like Roy ‘Mo’ Rene, pioneer feminist Louisa Lawson, retail giants David Jones and Anthony Hordern, eccentric Chinese businessman Mei Quang Tart and the great singer Peter Dawson.
