Registration is now open for the State Library of NSW and the University of New South Wales‘ joint symposium Voyages and Visions: A Symposium in Honour of John Gascoigne and Ian Tyrrell. The program will celebrate the inspirational careers these two eminent Australian historians in a landmark three-day event that brings together historians from all over Australia and internationally to share ground-breaking new work on empires and exploration, cross-cultural encounters, the history of science, American exceptionalism, and social and environmental visionaries.
