When the Titanic sank, it carried not only some of the wealthiest people in the world, but hundreds of immigrants from Great Britain, Ireland, Scandinavia and elsewhere throughout Europe who were seeking a new life in the United States. It took more than seventy years to discover the wreck, but thousands of artefacts have been recovered and displayed at museums around the world.
The City of Canada Bay Heritage Society invites you to hear a talk by Michael Booth, Titanic historian and descendant of a Titanic passenger.
When: Saturday, 3rd August, 2019, 1:30 for 2:00 pm
Where: the City of Canada Bay Museum, 1 Bent Street, Concord
