Valley Heights Locomotive Depot Heritage Museum has arranged a number of special activities and exhibits to coincide with History Week 2018. Rail transport has a long association with the ‘Life & Death’ theme, and rarely seen items will be on loan from other museums to complement the historical content associated with the departed that already exists on site.

Visitors will be able to explore these connections and also enjoy the full facilities of the Museum, including 20 minute Steam Train rides throughout the day. The program will include the opportunity to view exhibits used for transportation of the deceased in the days of steam. There will be themed photographic displays, other related exhibits, local stories and short presentations.
