Henry Lawson and AB ‘Banjo’ Paterson made their marks in Australian culture and literature with their classic bush poetry – painting the face of a young nation – but behind the stories, poems and legends lie two men who despite having many similarities in early life took very different paths in life.

Well, the City Of Canada Bay Heritage Society warmly invites you to join them & guest speaker Tim Hunter on Saturday 1st February to explore “A.B. “Banjo” Paterson & Henry Lawson” at the City of Canada Bay Museum.

 

About the Speaker |

Tim Hunter has a long history with community theatres, both acting and “behind the scenes”. He has a passion for poetry, particularly Paterson’s work. He will be talking about the poets as well as reading some of their well-known poems.
