The Brisbane Water Historical Society Inc. recently opened a new exhibition at the Henry Kendall Cottage and Historical Museum. The exhibition is ‘Weekenders” which reminisces on the romance and adventure of old fashioned holidays on Brisbane Water.

The State Library of New South Wales has aquired the earliest printed illustration and description of the Southern Cross by 16th century Italian adventurer Andrea Corsali.
