I’m interested in seeing the St Paul’s Church Cemetery. I understand both Thomas Campbell Snr and his son, Thomas Campbell Jnr, have headstones there. I am the seventh generation Campbell. They are the 1st and 2nd Generation. Both transported about six years apart on the prison hulk ‘Admiral Gambier’. Thomas Jnr arrived in 1806, he was 15 yrs. old when he was sentenced to 7 yrs. Somehow my side of that line of the Campbell family ended up in Kootingal, just north of Tamworth, on a sheep, orchard, and dairy farm, towards the end of the 1800’s. Anyway, I will be heading down there tomorrow, Saturday, 8th Jan 24, hopefully to pay my respects.
