The 2018-19 Funding Round of the NSW Heritage Grants, from the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage, are now open.
Funding in this round is available under three competitive grant streams:
- Aboriginal Heritage
Funding Available: up to $70,000 (ex GST) per project
To conserve, promote or otherwise benefit an item of Aboriginal cultural heritage listed on the State Heritage Register or gazetted as an Aboriginal Place under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974 (that is not state or federal government owned and managed). - Community Heritage Projects
Funding Available: $25,000 to $50,000 (ex GST)
To deliver engaging projects that support the promotion, protection and celebration of NSW heritage within the community. - Local Government Heritage Planning Studies
Funding Available: variable up to $40,000 (ex GST)
For councils to prepare heritage reports, including LGA-wide Aboriginal heritage studies, landscape management plans and others.
