The brilliant new Ngarandi app helps users to learn about local Indigenous histories, culture and knowledge. Narrated by Dr Aden Ridgeway, the app is the result of a collaboration between Sydney Living Museums assistant curator Aiesha Saunders, app designer Troi Ilsley from Isobar and Marlee Silver from Cox Inall Ridgeway.

The app uses geolocation, games and augmented reality. Sydney Living Museums describes it as:

a new, immersive and Australian-first augmented reality app bringing cities to life through the stories of Aboriginal history

The app has been released to coincide with NAIDOC Week and is available from the app store now.
