The History Council of New South Wales would like to thank our outgoing Programs Coordinator, Amy Way for her fabulous work over the past six years. Amy began as an intern in 2012 and soon took on the role of Administration Assistant, then Programs Coordinator, becoming an invaluable member of the team and highly regarded by our members and colleagues. We wish her all the best as she steps back from her role at the History Council to focus on completing her PhD at Macquarie University.
It has been an absolute pleasure working for the History Council of NSW for so many years. Thank you to my colleagues and mentors for the opportunities they have given me, and for their continued support and guidance.
I would especially like to thank the dedicated members of the History Council of NSW, whose creativity, passion and expertise not only enriched my own experiences, but also the profile and practice of history across our community. Working with you has been an invaluable and extremely rewarding experience. Thank you for all of your support and commitment. – Amy Way
We also wish to welcome our new Programs Coordinator, Lucy King. Lucy has been an intern with the History Council assisting with History Week 2018 and is currently completing a Master of Research in late medieval English history and a Master of Heritage Conservation at the University of Sydney. She looks forward to meeting and working with our wonderful members.
I am excited to be taking on the role of Programs Coordinator at the History Council of New South Wales, and look forward to assisting the Council with their continuing commitment to creating and delivering opportunities for promoting and sharing history in the community. – Lucy King
