The Royal Australian Historical Society, in conjunction with Gwydir Family History Society Inc., presents the Moree Regional Seminar, featuring a range of professional speakers. The day includes talks on:

  • Accessing Land Titles Records: Associate Professor Carol Liston will provide advice and guidance to assist researchers in accessing and using the historically significant records that Land and Property Information is making available through its SIX Portal.
  • Furnishing your Ancestor’s House: Join Christine Yeats as she discusses the range of printed and archival resources available to researchers to help discover how your ancestors may have furnished their houses.
  • Unlocking Trove’s Hidden Gems – Government Gazettes: Christine Yeats will discuss how to make the best use of Government Gazettes ─ the official publications used for the notification of government actions and decisions for your research.
