One of the History Council of NSW’s cultural partners has on offer two temporary part-time positions in their programs unit. Sydney Living Museums (SLM) cares for twelve of the most important historic houses, gardens and museums in NSW and their collections. Their purpose is to enrich and revitalise people’s lives with Sydney’s living history, and to hand the precious places and collections in their care on to future generations to enjoy. Their museums come to life through dynamic and diverse programs of exhibitions, research and events with the hope that visitors can experience Sydney’s past as if they had lived it themselves.
The two roles on offer are:
- Audience Development Officer, Special Projects (14 hours) to work on SLM’s Cultural Calendar programs and some community partnership programs.
- Audience Development Officer, Food (21 hours) to develop and deliver great SLM Food programs including harvest markets, colonial gastronomy workshops, etc.
