The History Council of New South Wales, the peak body in the state for historical organisations and people interested in and concerned about the past, is seeking a new Executive Officer. The position is for two days a week and is responsible for management of the History Council office. Duties include executive support to the General Council and Executive Committee, budget management, liaison with funding bodies, advocacy activities, staff management, management of awards, website management, promotion and public relations, and working with the state government.
