MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

The position is for 8 hrs a week for 6 months (from May), with a possibility of extension subject to funding.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Do you want to help to grow the digital footprint & engagement of a small cultural organisation?

The History Council of New South Wales (HCNSW) is offering an opportunity to work with us.

This  media & communications role would suit a person wanting to build their skills and experiences in this field in a small not-for-profit business, as well as expand their networks.  

As part of a dedicated team, the Media & Communications Officer will be required to undertake social media and communications duties for the HCNSW office.  This includes the coordination & production of all media, communications and marketing for programs and events such as Speaker Connect, Professional Development seminars, Awards and Prizes and History Week, and the production of a fortnightly newsletter.

Duration of contract & location:  this is a 1-day-a-week (or 8 hrs per week, flexible) role available for 6 months (May to November) with a possibility of extension, commencing as soon as possible. 

Location: Remote (preferably NSW).
