The Department of Defence is looking for a Historian to join their Royal Australian Navy (RAN) history unit within the Sea Power Centre-Australia, located at Fyshwick, Canberra.
The position is responsible for maintaining historical records of RAN operations; providing authoritative staff advice on navy history and conducting major historical research for publication. The occupant is also expected to contribute to the broader public conversation about naval history and maritime strategy through lectures, seminars, conferences, training courses and networking with appropriate institutions and interest groups.
