The History Council of NSW is excited to introduce our new Administrative Assistant, Alexandria Hawkins. Allie completed a Masters of Research at Macquarie University in 2017, which explored the written autobiographies of female survivors of the Holocaust. In the same year, she also interned for the History Council of NSW assisting in the coordination of History Week: Pop! (1-9 September 2017). Allie was previously a member of the General Council as a student representative. She is looking forward to working in her new role as Administrative Assistant.

If you have any general enquiries or questions about membership, sharing events on our website and social media, and our awards and prizes, contact Allie at admin@historycouncilnsw.org.au.

Our faithful former Administrative Assistant, Amy Way, is still working for the History Council of NSW in her new capacity as Programs Officer. Amy started at the History Council in 2012 as an intern, and in 2015 as Administrative Assistant. Since then, she has answered members’ queries and assisted in the running of our programs with great efficiency and enthusiasm. Congratulations on your new role Amy.

Contact Amy at programs@historycouncilnsw.org.au if you have any questions at all about our programs, including History Week and Speaker Connect.

Please join me in welcoming Allie and thanking Amy for her continued service to the History Council.
