Applications are now open for the  2019-21 NSW Heritage Grants program from Office of Environment and Heritage and the Heritage Council of NSW

Grants are available under three categories:

Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Grants: Funding Available: variable up to $70,000 (ex GST) per project

To develop a conservation management document for a nominated or gazetted Aboriginal Place or State Heritage Register item of Aboriginal cultural heritage.To do activities or works identified in a conservation management document for a gazetted Aboriginal Place or State Heritage Register items of Aboriginal cultural heritage.For projects that increase understanding, respect, celebration and cultural participation in Aboriginal cultural heritage.

Caring for State Heritage Grants: Funding Available: $20,000 to $150,000 (ex GST) per project

To develop a conservation management documents for an item listed on the State Heritage Register. To support conservation, protection and activation of items listed on the State Heritage Register 

Community Heritage Grants: Funding Available: variable up to $60,000 (ex GST) per project

To support community engagement projects. To support interpretation of an item listed on the State Heritage Register. For various activities for Local Government applicants, including for Heritage Advisor Services, a small grants program and heritage studies.
