History Week 2021 Theme Suggestion

The History Council of NSW (HCNSW) is seeking suggestions from its members about a theme for History Week 2021.

Previous themes have included:

  • History: what is it good for? (2020)
  • Memory & Landscapes (2019)
  • Life & Death (2018)
  • POP! (2017)
  • Neighbours (2016)
  • War, Nationalism & Identify (2015)

What makes a good theme?

The HCNSW has discovered that a broad topic, related to current social preoccupations gives our members the best chance to respond through the staging of events during the annual festival of History Week. (Please also refer to our History Week webpages).

We look forward to receiving your suggestion for the History Week 2021 theme.  Please enter the title and a theme description below.

The winning entry will be announced in December 2020, with the winner receiving a $100 book voucher and recognition for their winning concept in HCNSW and History Week 2021 promotions.

Submissions close 5 pm, Tuesday, 1 December 2020.
