To celebrate this year’s History Council of NSW 2018 History Week theme of Life and Death and in the lead up to the one hundred year commemoration of the WWI Armistice, the Australian History Museum in collaboration with Macquarie University Library present the exhibition ‘Lest we forget – the commemoration of death’.

This exhibition will explore and deconstruct the myth of death and heroism in war. The exhibition will be hosted in the University Library Exhibition space throughout September, however, all are welcome to the launch of the exhibition on Monday 3 September.

When:    Exhibition launch, Monday 3 September, 10.00am-11.30am
(The exhibition will run throughout the month of September)
Where:   Ground Floor Exhibition Space, Macquarie University Library, 16 Macquarie Walk, Macquarie University
