Through my parents I remember…

Hosted by Sydney Jewish Museum

Please join Sydney Jewish Museum in a special History Week 2020 event giving a voice to survivors of the Holocaust.

Jewish children were one of the most vulnerable groups during the Holocaust; of those who survived a significant proportion lost their parents. Child survivors Paul Drexler, Mimi Wise and George Sternfeld all survived with at least one of their parents, defying immense odds.

Through a panel discussion Dr Rebecca Kummerfeld will speak with them on the role their parents played in their survival, how they are honouring the history of their extended families and communities through the telling of their own survivor stories, and what they hope can be learned from listening to the stories of children in the Holocaust.

The event will cost $10 per person and free for any Sydney Jewish Museum members
