One of our richest resources when engaging with our region’s roots is our pictures.
Wollongong City Libraries have over 30,000 images depicting a wide range of stories, from before the invention of photography right through to the present. The adage ‘That a picture paints a 1000 words’ has never been truer.
In these difficult times of homebound lock-down, they have put together a small selection of their images and created jigsaw puzzles that they hope will bring some fun into the act of discovering their history.
