Professional Development

Our aim is to provide a relevant, accessible and diverse professional development program which will strengthen the history sector and inspire the broader community with stories from the past.

In addition to our year-round Speaker Connect program, which aims to connect history professionals with organisations across New South Wales, we also offer a range of skills-based seminars and talks. (See below for examples of previous events, including links to the event pages).

Please check our Whats-on page, subscribe to our Newsletter and like our Facebook page to receive announcements of upcoming events.

Members also receive information about member-only events, so check out our Membership page to learn more about the benefits of becoming a member of the HCNSW.

Find out more below or if you have any questions, contact us at programs@historycouncilnsw.org.au.
