Join Hurstville Museum & Gallery for Pop!, an exhibition comprised of historical photographs sourced from the Georges River Council Local Studies collection. These images reveal the various ways in which the people of St George have interpreted and adopted new trends in entertainment, recreation, architecture, and fashion. With over 150 years’ worth of pop culture represented, the photographs show how locals have been influenced by both national and international forms of mass culture.

Pop! is a reflection and celebration of how popular culture has influenced the region’s imagination and self-conception.
