The Oaks Historical Society Inc. are showcasing an exhibition developed from contributions from the schools of Wollondilly Shire. Schools have researched pioneers from the Wollondilly Shire and created a visual image of that pioneer on wooden shapes provided by the museum. The 1.2 metre figures will be displayed together as a “Pioneerscape” at the museum and available to the public to view from History Week until the end of 2016. Written research about the pioneers will be collated and added to a catalogue for current and future reference.
